Delayed post about the MCIA ROOTS Christmas party because @locosoko uploads slow :)

MCIA ROOTS, +1s, and @lisa22 the only current team member HAHA. Trying to get a sneak peak into alumni life. 

This SHWEDDY BALLS party was actually really nice :) The food was bomb! Who the fuck knew Fatty Patty could cook so damn well. Everyone looked fashionable as always, atmosphere was fun, games were competitive, and it was just a good time with old friends. 

It really dawned on me that I’ve known some of these people for almost 5 years now, going on 6 (FUHH i’M GETTING OLD). I am the dancer and more importantly the person I am today because of this group of people (pictured above and those who could not make it, ROOTS is huge now yo!). I wouldn’t say we’re all the best of friends, but a good number of these people have had some impact on my life & i know a good majority of them will be there for me when I need them. I’m blessed to have these people in my life. 

Here’s to the memories we’ve shared and growing even older together ya bitches! ROOTS 4 LYFE. 

Back in Irvine sitting in my room waiting for later festivities to begin I have time to write this post.

This past holiday was probably the best Christmas holiday I’ve had in a long time with family. I was able to see almost every cousin from my mom’s side (minus one, party pooper stayed in LA) and my dad’s side actually had a gathering haha. I’ve taken family for granted for the past few years, especially my cousins. They are all growing up so fast and unfortunately I can’t be apart of their lives as much as my brother can because I chose to stay down in Irvine. My little cousins don’t know me as well so they are shy around me. Sadlife :( But I’m going to make a bigger effort to be apart of their lives as my older cousins were for me when I was growing up.

Whattup Vietnam! Mom’s side :) Holla at being 3rd oldest! I’ve missed out on a lot of their growing, but I want to be there for them now. Especially the 4 little ones - oldest being 11 and youngest being 3. There’s still time for me to be involved! haha

Whattup China! We didn’t take a cousin picture, but this be Me, the Brother, the Dad, my aunt who pretty much has been there all my life & my two cousins I grew up with from my dad’s side. They mean a lot to me.

This Christmas holiday was a blessing. I appreciate my family so much more now.

Meet my littlest cousin on my mom’s side, Ethan :) He is 3 years old, going to be 4 in march. I tried to take a picture with him, but his attention span wouldn’t allow it haha.

Then we went back to playing on his dad’s Ipad 2. He tried to explain to me what he was doing, but he can’t speak well yet so it was just cute blabber. Best thing was when he just nuzzled right next to me and used me as a back rest to play his games.

I’m stuffed, glad to see the cousins & family, and got my Christmas gifts. Merry Christmas everyone!

I could come here every day and still get lost in the amazingness :)
